Is the Vibrant™ an entertainment or an Android™ phone?

Will the Vibrant only work in 3G?
No, it will automatically connect to the best available network, delivering quick data speeds for surfing the Web or downloading information, whether it’s over T-Mobile’s high-speed 3G network or Wi-Fi. If those aren’t available, it will connect to T-Mobile’s nationwide GSM network.
Do I have to download Avatar™ in order to get it on my Samsung Vibrant?
Do I have to download The Sims 3 Collector’s Edition?
No, it is preloaded and will be ready for use right out of the box.
What is a Super AMOLED screen and why is it better than other screens?
It is a high-resolution WBGA (800x400 pixels) screen that offers a bright, clear and low reflective display.
What is Swype®?
Similar to the QWERTY keyboard layout, Swype abandons the tap method in favor of a less finger-clumsy letter-tracing method. Drag your finger across the keys and it will form a word.
Is corporate e-mail (Microsoft Exchange) available on the Vibrant?
- From any Home screen, tap Applications.
- On the first Application panel, tap Email. Note: If you have already set up another e-mail account, tap the Menu [Insert image] key. Tap Accounts, then tap Add account.
- Enter your e-mail address in the Email address field.
- Tap Next.
- Enter your password in the Password field.
- Tap Manual setup.
- Tap Exchange account.
- If prompted, read the tutorial.
- Enter the Exchange server address, domain, and security type. Note: Contact your system administrator if you do not have this information.
- Tap Next.
- Tap the Account name field.
- Enter a name for your account.
- Enter the name you would like to appear on outgoing e-mails.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Finish.
To edit synchronization settings for Exchange ActiveSync, follow these steps:
- From any Home screen, tap Applications.
- On the first Application panel, tap Email.
- Locate and tap the e-mail account you want to change.
- Tap the Menu [Insert image] key.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Scroll through and tap to edit the desired settings.
Is MobiTV™ included for free on the phone?
No. You will receive a free 30-day trial, but if you choose not cancel during the trial, you will be charged $9.99 a month to keep the service.
What is the Kindle® application all about?
The Kindle for Android™ application comes pre-installed on the device, allowing customers to read from the largest selection of the most popular books.
